If I can get my info from google I would not be asking here, would I, you fool. These people have no idea about the concept of Answers.

I'm like you, I figure if someone takes the time to ask a legitimate question, they've exhausted all efforts to obtain the answer themselves.
I think yes, some are just trying to get 2 easy points which to me is a waste of everyone's time, including the asker.
Then, on the other hand - ever heard the old saying about "assume", what are the first 3 letters and when you do assume, that is what you make out of yourself.
I think some people don't think others have any common sense at all.

Well, there just might be some people out there, that are "new" to having a computer, and haven't developed the experience and knowledge yet, that "WE" didn't have either, when we first started out.
But, I agree, It does seem rude, and "smart-assy" when one throws out a reply like you mention.

unfortunately, though, too many questions on here are being asked that CAN be answered by googling....and the askers often award the "best answer" to an answerer who did google

I agree...but then I just go to yahoo....and if yahoo doesn't have it...I just don't answer!
