Yeah, I already asked this, but it got blah answers over in the cooking section...

A bunch of them on-line don't even mention their temperature ranges, and one I saw in a shop didn't even mention it on the box. (!)

I saw one on Amazon that goes up to 700 degrees -- and five hundred bucks. Hmm.

If you have one but don't know -- give me an idea of how long it takes you to cook your pizza, and how it cooks.

I planted ~10 seeds of green onions in a pot. They sprouted high (~2-3 inches) but remained very thin. As a result, they are not standing up. Why?

I just moved into a brick home, someone either tried to fill a few gaps in between bricks on the porch wall or just got sloppy while calking windows, but the caulk is white, the bricks are multi colored and there is caulking everywhere...it is such an eyesore. Is there an easy way to get it off of the bricks? Thanks in advance for any help.

I am going to be installing ceiling downlighters, and wondered whether to use a transformer and low voltage lights, or just 240V ones. In particular would I need to leave some way to access the transformer (presumably in the ceiling), in case it fails at some point in the future?

My oven decided to stop working the other day. It worked fine one day and then not so fine the next. The stovetop is gas - does that mean the oven uses gas too? Could it be a pilot light? I don't want to have to call a repair guy. Can someone please guide me in the right direction?

I spilled bleach on my light beige carpet. It is a VERY noticable spot and live in an apartment so I'm sure they won't be happy if I can't at least mask it somehow. Is there a way I can try to get it back to it's original color (or near)?

I now have those little tiny gel like pieces from the inside of the diaper inside my washing machine. I removed as much as I could by hand but there is still some inside. Should I run a cycle with the machine empty? Will it be harmful to the drain? Anyone ever have this happen before?
