I'm new to vegetable gardening but have a flower garden and loads of old pots I would like to use for bringing on seeds and seedlings. I'm told you have to disinfect them but am not sure of the best way to do this.

I am buying a house next year and want to rent a room. I notice most people give people access to the kitchen and laundry room. My problem is that I don't want to give access to my living room. Is living room access usually expected?

I've scrubbed it all off with bleach before but it reappeared in the exact same spots. When I scrubbed, there were still stains. Is that the problem? It's spreading across the ceiling again and starting to work it's way down the walls. In some places, behind the black mold, areas of the ceiling have a faint pinkish orange hue.

I'm aware of toxic mold but I can't tell if this is the "bad" one. Is there an easy way to find out? How much does it cost to have it tested? Most importantly, how do I keep this from constantly coming back?

I rent this apartment and I don't have a good relationship with the landlord. He is a slumlord and refuses to fix most problems anyway. I'm really looking to take care of this myself without stirring up trouble with him. It needs to be as cheap as possible since I don't want to put money into something that I don't own.

I know your not supposed to put stained clothes in dryer or heat will set the stain in and make next to impossible to remove, but my problem is the stain wasnt there before i washed it. this seems to happen to all my white shirts. I wash them and after a couple washes i get this yellowish stain on my armpits. I can only assume maybe the detergent and deoderant residu made it stain darker so that i didnt notice it before. I dont know if this is true but its my only theory. Does anyone know of a way to remove these yellowish deoderant stains off my white shrts? i have bleached them but the stain is stil there.

What is the best thing to use to clean the glass of my shower screen. The water in my area is "hard water" and has left the glass really streaky and just looks generally dirty. I only fitted the screen last year so I dont want to replace the thing. Is there any strong bleach or chemical that will bring it up like new ?

When arriving to the city by air, for example, I notice large patches of "pink" groundcover. I think I was once told that this plant was brought to the region from the Mediterranean. . . . Does anyone know what this plant is called? And even beter how easily available it is to find and plant in a home garden?

Many thanks.

on my brand new "fiberglass" front doors? I have the stain [color] picked out as well. I have gotten 3 estimates so far and each contractor told me something "completely" different about the application. Also, the $$$ quotes were outrageous! Thank-you(s) in advance! XOXO Moonpie
