I want to wash some woollen jumpers. last time I made the mistake of washing them in my front loader with the recommended amount of wool wash but it leaked and bubbled all over the floor. duh!

Next time should I?
a) Wash in the machine with 'normal' front loader powder?
b) Wash using the wool wash but with a small amount
c) Do I really have to handwash with wool wash in a bucket???

How do YOU wash your woolens if you own a front loader.

Thanks

My niece decided to "color" on the walls of my sister's house. The house is rented and she wants to avoid re-painting the walls unless it is extremely necessary. The walls are white and the marker is looking to be very permanent. We've tried clorox scrub with bleach, standard Lisol, and just hard scrubbing with soap. Nothing seems to work without peeling the paint.

My brother in law and I broke the bulbs in our garage in a covered trash can months ago and now the cover is off. My wife is having a fit because the crystal florescents in the bulbs are being exposed and maybe contaminating our garage. I say I don't think its possible but I don't know for sure.

Our rental house was experiencing a clog so our landlord called the plumbers. They snaked out to the main sewer line in the yard and found a fabricy/dryer sheet like substance. Problem is we never use dryer sheets or flush fabric (no kids either). Now the landlord is blaming us for the clog- is there any other way this could have gotten into our line besides from us? We recently had very heavy rains in the area (causing something on the order of 100-year flooding).

We are building a house in Gorakhpur, India. Please suggest flooring solutions other tha vitrified tiles and marble which prove to be pretty costly. Someone suggested white terrazzo flooring, but is it immune to stains and can all masons lay it ? Mosaic flooring is not an option.
