They are sitting on the neon sign on the front of the building, and only come back in the evening when light is on and it's warm. I was recommended to put up spikes on each letter of the sign(48 inch letters) as the only option, but want to avoid this ugly solution. What do you mean copper wire? Thanks for your answers

Several manufacturers claim that their ultrasonic devices prevent pigeons from roosting in the area in which their devices are placed. I have no experience with these devices and cannot vouch for their effectivness. You can find additional information if you do a Yahoo search for "pigeon barriers" (include the quotation marks in the Yahoo search box) and explore some of the 25 results.

Where are the pigeons? If they are on your roof, you can run copper wire along the peak of the roof and they won't land there. Works well for seagulls and also inhibits the growth of moss on the roof.
