Sometimes, the internet is not the best choice to sell your items. Do you really want to crate up and ship furniture that you may be lucky enough to sell on e-bay? Best advice is to advertise in the classified ads of your local newspapers. The ads are cheap and the response is usually very good. You can negotiate price with local people who will take the furniture with them. "Moving Sales" usually sell out quickly if the items are priced to sell and it sounds like your stuff is priced right.

Good luck with your sale.

Craigslist for sure. You could literally get rid of the items by tonight. Just be forewarned: it's a lot of scheduling and being very specific. People are totally flaky, so you get some stand-ups and you also get someone trying to bring a couch home on a bike. Good luck.

I've used consignment stores, because they'll do the work for you, and will send a check (minus a small percentage) for the amount they sold it for...

But since you have pets you are trying to give away, try Craig's list

Yahoo groups like Cheapcycle would be good if you are looking to sell it quickly and just want the buyer to come by and pick it up.
