One of my sons somehow got a hold of a bottle of Liquid Paper...and since he's a creative lad who enjoys painting, he proceeded to "paint" on our newly finished walls and hardwood floors - then spilled some on one of his (black) t-shirts! Any ideas as to how to remove this stuff? I'm looking for something that will (gently) dissolve it without ruining or marring the surfaces (or the shirt!). Thanks!

I accidentally left my DeWalt cordless circular saw out in the rain for two days... URGGGGGG. The battery pack was in at the time. Also my corded B&D jigsaw. Did I kill them? When I discovered them outside, I brought them in and shook them out and won't turn them on for a good while to let them dry out. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I fixed the leak, does the water that goes through the pipes replenish itself or do I have to open a valve somewhere to refill it and then bleed the air out?

Greenhouse is on total concrete, would it help to use bark chippings for some insulation, i.e. keeping cool in summer & warm in winter or best left as it is ? No electricity, so will have to get some type of heater.

Hot water comes out of all other taps including bath tap and cold water ok. Bathroom is on first floor of house. I've tried running all hot taps to see if that will make water run out of sink tap but no joy!

Any suggestions of anything else I can try before I call out a plumber would be appreciated.

The Roomba vacs look really cute but I am not sure if I should get one. I would like to buy something that is small for the kids to use in thier room. Also I wanted to find out more about how long it takes to program (set the sensors) and the level of noise it puts out. And is it true that once it's done it can go back to it's base? What about cost?

finished look? the baseboard molding is rather simple. it is flat, about 3 inches high with a slight decorative bevel at the top. there is no gap between the baseboard and the wood floors. i sort of feel i could get away with not bothering with quarter round molding in this one bedroom where this is the case, but i wonder is quarter round molding considered necessary in this situation to create what is considered a finished look? to me, it looks fine, but i wonder what others might think.
