I fixed the leak, does the water that goes through the pipes replenish itself or do I have to open a valve somewhere to refill it and then bleed the air out?

You can open a valve or two and you'll notice it blowing air and water out, it'll clear up after a few minutes.

The boiler has an autmatic feed valve ,if you don't hear any noises when the water goes through when heating.What kind of leak did you fix and with what if you didn't have to drain baseboard.

You should be bleed the system first to let any air pockets out
