There is a new product from Febreeze. You use it in you washing machine. Works great.

There are many solvents that break down gasoline but DO NOT use them on laundry as they can damage the fabric. Use detergent-based stain removers, not solvent-based ones. Try TIDE with Febreeze as a concentrated pre-soak, then launder as normal. CAUTION: gasoline makes clothing more flammable. Air clothing thoroughly; do not place a garment in a dryer if you can still smell gas after the initial wash; repeat wash/rinse cycles until no smell.

Leave the fabric to soak in a mixture of vinegar and water overnight. Then wash as normal. Or you can soak it in a mixture of baking powder and water.
