Ha! Well it hard to deny a child the excitement of Christmas. If, you can hold out until after Thanksgiving is when many start. What you can do is tell your son this takes much preparation and you can both get the lights out and first check to see they all lighting and maybe look around at stores for decorations. This will buy you some time. Then again, what the heck, if he wanting too then it really not hurt anything.
Starting November 17 your son can go here and keep an eye on Santa; http://www.noradsanta.org/index.php
NORAD tracks Santa to know where he is and when he flies over Hostile areas they send out Fighter Jets to escort Santa safely to your son. ;-)

Maybe you can put some lights in his room for now and then say you will put it up together the day after Thanksgiving. I am in the camp that says wait until after Thanksgiving, but on the other hand, I bet if my seven year old wanted them, I would do it!! What is the harm? Ok, I changed my own mind. Put them up!! Have a great holiday! Christine

that is going to look undesirable, yet purchase a wrap-round toddler gate for the realm around the tree. you seriously is unable to save a watch on him in any respect cases, that is not conceivable to imagine you'll capture him each and each and every time he is going in route of it- so placed your recommendations comfy and both purchase a small tree (3-4 feet) or placed some variety of protection round it. that is a very good age because he's commonly used with no and it is a studying probability for him about textures, smells, and practise him about issues which could damage him. Have him make or purely carry one or 2 unbreakable adorns that he can contact as a lot as he needs and delivers him some free tinsel and reprimand him if he places in close to his mouth, yet enable him placed it on the tree and praise him for it plenty. He may not reply with words, yet he will honestly understand your meaning.

Hang just a few around the eave of your roof. We keep ours up like that year round and it looks very nice. Wait until after Thanksgiving to go all out though.
