The Roomba vacs look really cute but I am not sure if I should get one. I would like to buy something that is small for the kids to use in thier room. Also I wanted to find out more about how long it takes to program (set the sensors) and the level of noise it puts out. And is it true that once it's done it can go back to it's base? What about cost?

I've only found it to work well in my kitchen dining area which is linoleum flooring. The deep pile carpet tends to hold on to things and so we have to vacuum anyway. Then I have to put a board to separate the dining area so Roomba doesn't go in there. In the time it takes to set up the Roomba and then service it I can quickly run the vac over the two rooms. Not worth the price for sure.

Its expensive $200 for what it does ( clean carpet)
I'd rather just vacuum the dang carpet with a regualr vacuum and get it over with instead of waiting for Roomba to finally get over to the messy area

Its great for a single lazy bachelor

They indexed Sears Kenmore as # one million. So i assumed what the hell and offered it. permit me inform you that's the very ultimate vacuum i've got ever offered. and that i've got offered many Hoovers and others. client comments theory Dyson grew to become into between the worst. have faith me i actually do no longer think of any vacuum could beat the Kenmore for capability and %. up. The deep cleansing is large. examine this challenge of client comments you will learn lots. you may circulate to your community library to discover it. I had advised somebody else in solutions approximately my vaccum. They offered it and enjoyed it too. by way of ways what I even have is a up top and has a bag. i've got owen a bagless Hoover and it grew to become right into a actual soreness to empty. I had dirt everywhere. The bag looks to take a protracted time to fill and that they do no longer value too lots. that's cleanser and that i'am chuffed.

I gave my Mom one for Christmas last year. She has had knee replacement and is advised by her doctor not to vacuum. She likes it, very well. She has a combination of hardwood, with area rugs, and they always look very clean.
