I strongly suggest never using fabric softeners on children's clothes. Fabric softener whether liquid or dryer sheets places a coating on clothes. This coating wears away onto your skin causing many skin problem. I was advised of this by a children's doctor many years ago when my sons skin was becoming too dry.

most kids clothes are especially the younger ones. it is best to use drift on the clothes until they get older. i stopped using it when mine was about 2., but it's just your preference really. like the other lady said itis mostly sleew wear.
