Hi
First thing if it is still wet dab area with towels to absorb as much as possible.
If the urine stain is brown then it is a sticky residue problem. I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pouring water on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time, to remove the sticky residue. If the stain comes back in a few days you may have to do this a few times. If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it.
If it has gone yellow then it is a PH problem. You can try using vinegar (one part vinegar to five parts water) to see if you can remove the stain. You can also try “Nature's Miracle” this is a liquid containing enzymes that feed on the organisms that give urine its odours.
Sometime urine stains cannot be removed.
The main reason for stain to resurface is the soap that you leave behind. The most important thing to do is rinse the stain with a wet vac and water to remove all the reside.
In my experience, Nature's Miracle is your best bet. Good luck!

Go to PetSmart or another pets store and see what products they have. I've seen a lot of them, but can't recall a name. I use Resolve all the time. The idea is to dab up the "accident" as soon as you notice it with a wad of folded paper towels or and old towel. Step on the towel and keep turning the towel to make the mess rise up and get absorbed. Then spray it with Resolve and do the same thing again with another paper towel wad or towel. Do not let the area get real wet with water. You can also try white vinegar mixed with a little water. The important thing is to try to absorb the liquid out of the carpet and padding. It's not a quick, easy process. Good luck.

Try using natures miracle, or use oxy pet stain and oder remover, before that inject some vinegar and water into the carpet pad to remove any oder in the pad.

If you can find the product advertised on TV called urine-b-gone, it works. I found it at Walmart. It comes with a "blacklight" you can use to find stains. Just spray on the spot..no rubbing or wiping. Trust me, I have 2 inside dogs and have tried everything.

"Urine Gone" can be bought at Walmart, walgreens, wherever for $20. It comes with a blacklight so you can see exactly where all theurine stains are. Spray this stuff,no need to scrub and it disappears. You have the blacklight to prove it. We have it,it works. On the box itll say "As seen on TV"

OUT! Pet stain and odor remover. Wal-mart has it for $7.00 for a 64oz jug. It is for pets but worked great for me for kids also. But let it soak in and sit for 20 min. till it gets in the padding. Then just put towels down to soak it back up. Let it dry on it's on because it keeps working for you.

I've had the most luck with a product called "Nature's Miracle." It's supposed to have enzymes that actually "eat" away the stain. Ewww ... but it works! Here's more info:

I have 4 cats and have tried it all but the oxy clean, just cause the box says it does it, doesn't mean it does. GOOD LUCK. natures miracle sucked, vinegar didn't work. Use lysol just for the germs, smell stays
