They could be getting overheated. Have you noticed the big light poles on streets turn automatically off periodically, which causes them to cool off and prolong their life span.

It's likely there's too much power flowing through the fixture, or the wiring used in the fixture is not the correct type for the application. Consult an electrician.

do you live where there is a 240 volt electric system like europe or africa, and these light bulbs are made for 120 volt systems like north america and asia?

if so that would be the problem

It's not the voltage, more likely getting wet.
