To get limescale of metal plugs I tip a bit of vinegar in the sink leave for five to ten minutes, rinse and Limescale has gone.

I find that pi*sing on the shower screen keeps the glass clean (lol just realised that rhymes, could use that as an advertising campaign, could go something like, 'hey do you have streaky glass? if so then you need Pi*s, just one spray and your shower screen will stay clean' )
I find a quick splash just before getting out sorts the problem, obviously a lot easier if you are a man.

Limescale is alkaline. Vinegar or lemon juice are acid. They will both work. Spray or wipe some lemon or viegar onto the glass. Leave for a while, then scrub and rinse. You may need to do this a couple of times but it is kind to the environment.
Cillit Bang also works.

I use harpic limescale remover. It's actually a toilet cleaner but it is mighty stuff. Smear it on with a dry sponge. It's quite a thick liquid. Leave overnight if you can, or as long as possible and then wash it off with a clean cloth and hot water. Keep it clean by regularly cleaning it with vinegar.

Have this problem - if you use CIF cream with a scouring sponge (the type used on dishes, NOT wire wool of course) you can bring the glass up like new with a rinse.

Okay, I have the same problem, and as much as I hate Barry Scott and those damn annoying adverts, I have to say Cilet Bang is the only thing I've found that does the job. It's good!
