No. You cannot. If the carpet is a small throw-type carpet, you might be able to dye it. Sounds like you should just throw it away and live with hardwood floors with throw rugs.

No you can not paint carpet.....if you don't like the color buy a Large Area Rug.

No, you cannot paint carpet. You can however dye the carpet but that I do not know how to do

you can change the color with die. You can pick it up at a carpet outlet or look online for carpet die

NO....it will make it hard and brickle....dye it with carpet dye or if you can't get the carpet dye just use regular dye that you would dye your clothes with, I have did this and it does a great job....Good Luck!

Carpet can be dyed, not painted.
It's usually cheaper to replace it.
