I NEED HELP!
I practice Mauy Tai and I got kicked in my shin. My problem is ever since then when I try to use my shin to block it hurts severly but there is no bruises or swelling. I don't know what it can be. It doesn't hurt when I run on it only when I apply pressure on the spot or I try to use it to defend myself.

last august i hit my head and i get headaches a little bit more now then usual. There not severe headaches just really little ones. Just wanna know is it possible that i can have a serious brain injury. I went to the doctor and he said i have nothing wrong with me. but that was in november and i still get them but not nearly as much anymore. My dad has a condition where he has to take migrane medicine for his headahces since he has been like in his early 20's. Could he have passes it down to me and im just nervous thinking that im getting these headaches from the injury?

My brother put a plate in the microwave and dropped it because it was so hot so I picked up the pieces and burned myself.
My finger hurts really bad I have been putting water on it but after the water dries the pain returns.
Anyway to fix this without cream?

My daughter went to emergency and was told that she broke her wrist. I took her to the orthopedic surgeon the next week when the swelling was going down to get a cast. He said it was a sprain, not a break. After that she begain brusing really bad and is still in a lot of pain. I wonder if I should get a third opinion.

OK I recently posted a question and I guess I was not very clear. Right now, I am visiting Canada and recently injured my ankle on a flight of icy stairs. (damn cold weather) Anyways, I went to a couple of ER's and Clinics and they are wanting to charge me over 500$ (which I do not have to spare) to diagnose and prescribe the medicine in which I need. I have insurance but they still say I have to pay the 500$ first. I am from America and I do not get free healthcare like Canadians do, I do not have the money and my insurance is not through my employer, I have contacted my insurance company to see what they suggest and they just told me to pay the 500$!!! I don't know what to do, I need pain medicine for god sakes, are there any caring doctors out there?

I have been in Canada for a month now and I injured my ankle falling down icy steps... Healthcare is free for Canadians up here but not for Americans, I have insurance but they say I have to pay for everything first and they might be able to reimburse afterwards. I do not want to do this, I just need something to leviate the pain, I've tried OTC stuff but its not working, I need something more potent. I can't contact my doctor at home in the USA because I do not have one, I rarely ever went to the doctor. HELP! IM HURTING!

I need a doctor to give me a long term sicknote, as i am fed up of working where i am.

I was involved in a car accident when i was a passenger a year and a half ago at work. The doctors then told me to keep hold of sicknote at time, as i may need it in future, if ever i had anything happen.

Should i just say my back is playing up? Would a doctor believe me?

just yesterday, i was repairing a CD player, and my arm touched against the outer case of the player, and i think that slight electricity current passed through me, i quickly took my arm away, and saw red patch on my skin and suddenly blood flow out. the size of the wound is a needle-poke size. is it possible for the same size to be so small? and can slight electricity cause my skin to bleed as said in my incident?

I was at work last night & the machine I was running jammed up, I had to pull on the plastic film very hard to get the jam away from the cutter knife, I was concentrating very hard on getting it done quickly to get the machine going again. I remember during all the pulling & yanking that at one point I know I hurt my finger but went on doing what I was doing & got it unjammed. Later I realized It really hurt although I could bend my finger at the knuckle. Tonight it is still really sore & swollen a little & red(it hurts under my fingernail but not my fingernail, and also right above the last knuckle next to my middle finger & now my knuckle if very stiff & sore when I try to bend it.

One year ago I went to the doctor because I had a serious thirst problem. I took a blood test and everything came back negative except my cholesterol was a little high. It was 206? This past month I still feel a discomfort in my jaw. It feels like pressure. It might be my wisdom teeth. I'm not sure.

Anyway, I've also been feeling this feeling in my chest. It feels like pressure and pain. When I feel very sad, I feel it even more. I haven't been able to sleep a normal schedule for over a month now. Sometimes I get 2 hours of sleep at night. Sometimes 3. Sometimes 5. I sleep during the day as well. Last night I came home after being verbally abused by my girlfreind. I took a really hot shower to relax. When I got into bed, my heart was beating extremely fast and wouldn't slow down for about 20 minutes. i can hear it beating in my head. What's wrong with me? Am I gonna get a heart attack at the age of 26? Or am I severely depressed? Or both?HELP

I have been everywhere and talked to everyone to help with this problem. I have changed my shoes, slowed my stride, rested for 4 months, ran on softer ground, got good arch supports, tried taping, I even saw a sports medicine doctor who did x-rays and then advised me to see a Physical Therapist. I saw the PT religiously for about 6-8 weeks, which made the pain go away, but then I started running again. So, then I saw someone that makes orthopedics, she studied my stride and said that my arch is very flexible without very much muscle. She showed me some arch exercises which haven’t seem to help much. Currently, I can’t run 2 min/walk 1 minute for 30 minutes at 5.0 mph without searing pain. Ice and ibuprofen seems to help, but doesn’t cure what is causing this ongoing problem. I’m starting to wonder if I have a problem that requires more invasive measures. Can anyone help?
