Go to the ER. The shoulder needs to be evaluated 1st to make sure there are no fractures or other damage. An x-ray will also need to be done to determine to position of the dislocation. Then, most likely the shoulder will need to be popped back into place. In the ER, a patient will usually get conscious sedation so that they don't feel any pain and don't remember the procedure. The shoulder is then popped back into place. (OUCH without drugs!!) Then, usually, a sling is applied to the affected arm for a while.

See your doctor! There might be cartilage, muscle or tendon damage associate with any type of dislocated joint. To include fluid build up between your rotator and bone! You should splint it until you see a doctor to keep it stabilized, but definitely see a doc!

go to the hospital or an urgent care center, the only way to put the shoulder back into place is with brute force and possible x-rays to make sure that it is back in the right position.

Get someone to give your arm a good strong yank, upwards, or some people can grab something solid, bend over and quickly back up, putting it back in by themselves.

OK this is going to sound gruesome. You have to pop it back in place.
