Hand therapy can be an effective component of a TFCC tear rehabilitation program. A complete tear may require surgery and then therapy.

Symptoms include pain on the little finger side of the wrist, and clicking or catching when moving the wrist.

Make sure you provide protective support such as a splint.
Ice it for 20 to 30 minutes 3 or 4 times a day
Take ibuprofen or Alieve (anti-inflammatory)
See a physical therapist for wrist rehabilitation exercises
You might need injections of cortisone.

A complete tear may require surgery. Most of these injuries will lose their pain after some rest and time although they might not actually heal, so seek continued medical advice throughout.
