in a week im having both by big toenail removed coz of an ingrown toenail and i wanna go out clubbing and i want to know how long will the pain last

If your doctor is anything like mine, it will not hurt long as long as no-one stand on your foot or you wear tight shoes. Trying putting some toilet paper round it as padding once your bandage is on, that helps.
The local anastetic normally lasts a few hours anyway so by then the pain would have gone down considerably. I wouldnt suggest taking pain killers before going clubbing the alcohol and pills would either make you very sick or high as a kite.

Hey there,
Had both of mine done a couple of times til they decided to take the nail bed out. Didn't hurt as much as I thought it would! Was only really bad sore for a couple of days - and when getting the dressing changed - hint - soak the foot in warm water before they try to remove any dressing, it hurts less! Got mine out on the Monday and went out on the Sunday night after - with the help of some rather large shoes. - All the best - at least it won't hurt again once healed!

depends...is the doctor "killing" the nail bed
I had a toe nail removed and I was on crutches for 2 weeks.

Don't want to worry you Bob. But my Cousin went in for that operation and it went Gangrene!
Had to have his foot amputated in the end!
