okay i have a 4mm size gap between my 2 front teeth. there is this pink meat in between the gap called "frenelum"???? is it??? okay whatever and before i get braces should i get that removed??? how do they do it??? give m3 a website please!

I woke up yesterday with my face all swollen and went to the dentist. She said my face was too swollen to get to the infected tooth and so she put me on antibiotics. I return next week to have the tooth pulled. Now that the dentists office AND my doctors office are closed I have noticed some SIGNIFICANT swelling and tenderness down my neck, but my face has not gotten any bigger. Should I assume that the antibiotics will catch up and take care of the problem or should I be afraid of dying in my sleep? I would gladly go to the emergency room, however, I am dangerously close to not being able to pay rent this month already!
Will this go away?

Because ive always grinded my teeth and they are so straigh i dont need braces and other ppl have said that too...I thought it made them crooked...Hmmm?

i have come to the stage my teeth are a mess and have gapes in some places and black fillings showing in others and have lost there colour i dont smoke or drink and find it hard to eat and suffer with mouth sores if i go the dentist will he able to give me a new set i wont to look the part and have to pay ,i am in medy cash so will i get help from that i am 52

I come home from work and get in the shower. All was normal but then when i got out i saw my lip was slightly swollen. I looked to see what it was and there was 3 or 4 little lumps on my lip. Now about an hour later, i can definetly feel my upper lip is swollen and i can feel it burning. Can anyone please tell me what is happening? ;[

A wire at the back of my braces are poking my cheek and it hurts! The ortho said they had to leave length of extra wire at the back because the it might come off the bracket. How can i make it not poke my cheek without using wax?

I have had orthodontic braces for 13 1/2 months. I will be getting them off anyday now. I have a tongue thrust, and I have known this since I got my braces. I have obviously not corrected the problem! When I get my braces off I will be getting a metal retainer with some sort of a "spike" to keep my tongue off my teeth (if you know a sit with any pics, please give a link). Anyway I want to know the easiest most effective way to corrective this.

I am having Root Canal next Friday after suffering for three months with an abscess, will it hurt?

I am in no pain, but have a small abscess on the gum which is only slightly painful to touch and does drain by itself! I have a quote of £350 (Private) to get the work done.

I guess I am just wondering, how long it will take and whether it will hurt or not?

had them pulled 2 months ago..... all 4 non impacted just a straight pull, i had partial dry socket but i asume by now thats healed but im still expirencing some sensitivity and jaw pain.... and there are still 4 holes back there... do u think i have an infection or dry socket... how do i know if i have an infection or dry socket... i am smoking.... about 10-15 cigs a day.... its already been 2 months how much longer until the holes heal...thanks

How did i get this? I brush my teeth very often. My brother is a nurse and said its trench mouth. It hurts SOOOOOOOOOOO bad. When people talk to me i don't want to talk. I already bought this antiseptic mouth wash from Orajel. Please someone help. This is EXTREMELY painful.
