They can be caused by tiny cuts in your mouth. Some foods cut your mouth.

They are usually blamed on viral problems (everything is by some people, when people/children do not have what they think).

You may have some sensitivities or allergies. Especially dealing with Toothpaste. When you're a child you are randomly switched to an adult toothpaste. The differences are Children's Toothpaste should be some what Hypoallergenic or atleast not have Fluoride. These days some retards are amping up Fluoride as a good thing (it is poisonious at a point,.. killing everything... that's why people use it to brush and it's in water,.. humans have a higher thrashhold then the gunk in teeth and water but some companies like bottled water have been trying to pretend like it's a Vitamin or something). There are a couple things I remember a Dentist saying that, canker sores, or something similar was an Allergic reaction to a couple ingrediants in toothpaste. One of them being coconut. Maybe you could try something without the Coconut (look at Tom's of Maine, they list all the Ingrediants,.. perhaps they have a couple Toothpaste without Coconut). See if changeing your toothpaste to be lacking a couple things helps. Don't worry Tom's puts in alternative ingrediants that do the same thing.

Some dentist are just now being taught there are things in toothpaste people are allergic to. It appears most are only being taught about the flavourings like Cinnamon and some of the Mints (actually Cinnamon is a Mint but they do not appear to know this). So one of the things you could do is try a toothpaste without any of the Mints to see if flavors are a problem.

As for relief for canker sores,.. sores need to dry out. BTW, do you have anything in or against your mouth alot? Like Braces, night guard, musical insturment, etc? Some things can cut your mouth and others make you produce excess saliva that is then trapped in an area too long.

Its a herpes infection you probably got from you mom or other caretaker.

It can get better. Keep yourself healthy and rested. Stress really does bring them out.

Outbreaks will eventually taper off.

you probably

a)have a mild herpes virus

and/or

b)have a vitamin C deficiency

Just take a vitamin C a day and try to eat citrus fruit.
