Yes you could shorten them a bit, but there is a risk:
When you shorten front teeth, you remove the enamel, approaching the underneath layer called dentin. If the dentin is exposed, your teeth will be permanently sensitive to cold.
You could try putting on Veneers to cover the dentin and reshape your teeth. http://www.studiodentaire.com/en/treatments/veneers.php
Also, you can try putting on braces. http://www.studiodentaire.com/en/treatments/orthodontics.php

on the same time as a dentist can not, an orthodontist can. Get referred by using your dentist, and an orthodontists will report down the tooth to make it greater in spite of the others. It won't harm.

THE TWO FRONT TEETH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A BIT LONGER THAN THE SIDE TEETH NEXT TO THE, BUT THEY SHOULD BE THE SAME LENGTH AS THE CANINE TEETH THE NEXT TOOTH OVER.
THEY WERE EQUALLY LEVEL THEY WOULD LOOK LIKE THE TEETH OF A COW.
HUMAN TEETH HAVE DIFFERENT LEVELS NATURALLY.

You can have your teeth shortened. It can be expensive though. Most insurance companies won't pay for it since it's elective.

I think they can file down teeth. I know they can do it when a tooth is chipped, sometimes they file the rest of the tooth to match.
I bet it would hurt, though.

they would probably file them...and who ever said it would hurt was wrong...it feels weird but it doesnt hurt unless the dentist files it too close to the root...and if that happens you wouldnt have a tooth left:)
