Are you taking any medications? Sometimes common meds such as allergy pills can cause dry mouth. Dry mouth or xerstomia is one of the most common side effects in medications..
Make sure you drink enough water through out the day. Dehydration can ofcourse lead to dry mouth.
If you find yourself breathing alot with you mouth open or sleeping with mouth open that can also lead to dry mouth.
Finally, a medical condition known a Sjorgrens's syndrome leads to dry mouth ( I doubt you have this because it affect others areas such as dry eyes as well)

You may find that Biotene products produced by Laclede may help you, there is a mouth gel to coat your gums and tongue, a toothpaste, mouthrinse, chewing gum etc. There are several sources - you local pharmacy should be one or Google Biotene and order from an online source.
