When having the root canals done your teeth could be a little sensitive after the numbing wears off but to have them bonded it will not hurt at all. The nerves of the teeth will be gone after having the root canals done so you will not have any feeling in the tooth. You should really have crowns done after having a root canal because your tooth will become brittle over time which will make it alot easier for you to break or even split the tooth. If you split the tooth then your only option would be to have the tooth extracted. You should talk with your dentist about having the crowns done instead of bonding. The crowns will be much stronger.

Years ago, I had to get all four of my front teeth capped. Two of them had had root canals so they were more brittle. I had to get posts built into them before getting them capped. I'm surprised to hear that you're getting bonding work done instead since that's not really as permanent as capping. Maybe techniques have improved since then. I don't know.

After the root canals, the teeth will be non-vital and will not hurt during the restorative procedures. Once your dentist gives you the proper level of anesthetic, your root canal therapy should be painless as well. Good luck!
