for after you've gotten a retainer, that you get bumps on your tongue?

Possible... if your retainer is scraping on that part of you tongue and irritating it. Overtime, your tongue will toughen up and you will nolonger have the irritation bumps. Pay attention to the area where your retainer is contacting the tongue and see if it's that same spot with the bump.
