Very religious Jews wont but I do... I cant not brush my teeth, its the only thing I do... Always remember its between you and Hashem and no-one else should say what is right and wrong for you... Good luck - I'm half-way thru my fast and STARVING!! :(

i'm pretty sure it's probably ok. i have friends who fast for religious reasons and they never seemed to have a problem about brushing their teeth. it's a pretty hardcore fast anyhow that doesn't even allow you water (even Ghandhi drank something!).

I think so.....i mean, if you were THAT religious, then you wouldn't be typing on the computer because that's consitered work. Or if you are worried about fasting, then just don't swallow anything.
