My wisdom teeth are coming in, two are already out and the other two are coming. One side of my face is aching and swelling. What could it be? What should I do? How can I relieve the pain? Could it be something serious?

Can anyone recommand the best place/doctor that would give me nice, beautiful, real pernament dental implants. I contacted ehealth, they contacted me one time and won't return my calls anymore. I need to a place where I can't stay long because of my job, but I really like to have nice teeth. I even try Mexico, they even want a lot too. Can you help me?

Okay so i had 2 tooth extraction 9 days ago (dec25) and i've finished taken the antibotics on this tuesday and i have not felt any pain not even within the first day or week but the thing that is scaring me is my tooth on my lower left jaw, it wasnt a wisdom tooth or anything just a regular tooth; it had to be extracted due to decay. But its been one week and the condition looks to be the same, white stuff keeps forming on top and falling off and the stitches already came off but im wondering why its still not recovered yet because everytime the white stuff falls off i see the same blood cott and im scared that it still might be able to dislodge and ill be able to get a infection such as dry socket.
Is this normal recovery or am i doing something to disrupt the healing process; i have been eating yogurt and soft food all week.

Will it ever be possible to regrow our own teeth if we lose a tooth? Sharks are able to regrow new sets of teeth indefinitely. I read some articles on Yahoo that there are currently scientists researching this possibility with stem cell research. Have any of you heard anything about this future possibility? Wouldn't this be wonderful? I always wondered why God didn't give humans the same ability as sharks to regrow infinite numbers of teeth if the teeth are lost.

I feel cloudy-minded and dizzy a lot since I've had mine. Is there something to this idea of bacteria colonizing in the dead teeth that causes systemic illnesses- brain, heart, lungs, circulation, etc.? If you have had problems with root canals, please tell me! Any advice???

My daughter is 15 yrs old with very crooked teeth and discolored teeth from fevers as a baby. I went to get her braces on and the ortho told me she needed palatial exspanison because her top palette was far smaller then the bottom. He mentioned oral surgeon needing to break her jaw and widen the top palette and then braces could be put on. This sounds really scarey and painful but daughter does want to be a journalist and has straight A's and really could be a model if it werent for her god awful teeth which she hates. She is 5'11 and all legs and beautiful but has these "austin powers" teeth..I can;t seem to find anything about this surgery online and wondered if anyone has had a child go through this and what the risks are, would you do it again? etc? Anything helpful....thanks

I was cleaning my teeth the other day. We are renovating, so everything is sort of mixed up and all over the place until we get things sorted out properly. Anyway while I was cleaning my pegs I notice that the toothpaste foam in my mouth had turned a sort of dark grey colour. I immedietly spat it out , looked at my toothbrush and yep, I was using the brush that I had been cleaning my shoes with, top to bottom.

Ok, I am 28 and I have sensory issues which make it absolutely painful for anyone to touch my mouth. I do have dental insurace with the company I work with, however I am so terrified of going that I haven't been in years. I need to find someone in southern california who is willing to do my dental work while I am asleep. I want to be knocked out and have everything done at once. I know some people are thinking only children have sensory problems...that's not true and I don't want the rude answers so don't even bother. If there are any dentist's in the southern california area who take pmi dental insurance and can help me out please, please email me. I have a very painful tooth on the top left that is literally falling apart. It's very painful but I absolutely cannot tolerate being awake for dental work. Here is my email.

I think he has cracked my jaw bone because it is jagged round the socket bit on the side where the tongue is, just under the gum. will the bone grow back? I can feel it with my tongue.
Some splinter bits have already come out.
