i bought those crest premium whitening strips, and the first 2 days i used as directed, twice a day. the thrid day i used it only once and then my teeth were sensitive the rest of the day. i didnt use them for 2 days, then used one again yesterday morning, and my teeth have been so sensitive since. i know i know, stop using them. i'll just do one every 2 days or so since thats apparently all i can handle, but until then, what can i do to make my teeth not so sensitive. i mean, its even sore to breath thru my nose!

I recently visited the dentist and they said I had a receding gum line. They educated me on how to brush lighter and in circles. I understand that this will stop the gums from receding but will it repair the damage that I have already done? Any other suggestions?

I have a baby tooth at age 27 that needs to come out because it is bad..there is no adult tooth above it...is this bad? Do the roots still dissolve on a baby tooth if there is no permanent tooth above it?

I just got invited to go to a Mardi Gras ball on February 18, and I want my teeth to be pretty. I can't afford to go to a dentist for professional whitening, so I was wondering if anyone had any idea which of the over-the-counter whitening strips/products would work the best and fastest, because I have less than 2 weeks! Thanks in advance for your time!

Look at all of the money we pay for the upkeep of our teeth. Over the years, we spend gobs and gobs. Why not just have all of our teeth pulled at 19 and never have to suffer with the dentist again? Be nice. Toothless but gummy

I would like to hear from people who have had amalgam fillings removed, and had any health issues clear up after that? What health issues were they?
I am aware of the debate about whether or not amalgams are good or bad, so don't need to hear any more on this.
I have just been told by my doctors that I have mercury toxicity, which could explain some of the health problems I have been having.

So about 11 days ago i had a tooth extraction on a regular tooth and a wisdom tooth; both located on my bottom jaw. The wisdom tooth seems to be doing okay as its causing me no pain but the other tooth the was removed due to decay seems to be puzzling me. A few days ago white stuff formed on top of my blood cott and it seemed to be doing fine but it just kept falling off and yesterday another white kinda rice looking thing covered my blood cott again, this time covering the gash where the tooth was removed and it seems to be almost unremoveable and on top of that this pinkish color thing is starting to form. Is this normal for the healing process or is it getting infected. And when is it a good time to start normal brushing and eating normally again because for the pass week i have only been able to floss and brush the front teeths, and chew with my front teeth in order to prevent a delay to my healing.
