I am not sure exactly the ingredient you are talking about but just to get ahead of everyone else there have been no cited studies or reports put out that say there is fiberglass in chewing tobacco. Inevitably someone will say this since it is a large spread rumor.

IF YOU MEAN "SNUFF", IT HAPPENS TO BE THE ACTUAL TOBACCO LEAVES WHICH TEND TO BE FIBROUS AND WILL CUT THE SOFT TISSUES OF THE CHEEK.
THIS REPEATED CUTTING OF THE CHEEK WILL CAUSE THE AREA WHERE THE WAD OF CHEWING TOBACCO IS KEPT BECOMES IRRITATED AND THIS CONTINUOUS IRRITATION CAN LEAD TO MOUTH CANCER.
