My dentist wanted me to get an implant for a space from getting a tooth pulled...I don't want to get that done...what about bridge work??...what is that?? He said that's an option, but my insurance doesn't cover it...how much does that cost?

If there is only one space to bridge then the cost is usually about 1000-1400 $ per unit soooo each tooth on the side of the space and the space itself is considered a "unit" that fee times 3. and implant is generally about the same cost but absolutely better. this way you aren't ruining the other good teeth. The best kind of dentistry is no dentistry. so if you don't have to "drill" on good teeth, don't. it only puts them at risk for other problems in the future. ask your dental office about financing or payment plans. most offices offer a revolving lines of credit for this type of situation.
Good Luck!

They actually drill holes into good teeth and then anchor the new tooth to the drilled teeth. Putting those "good" teeth at risk.
