I have to get my tooth pulled, it is a baby tooth in the back...i'm 27 years old, is this normal, worst of all, there's no permanent tooth inside to come down!

Ask your dentist what she/he is planning to after the baby tooth is out. the best thing for you to do is have an implant placed soon after the area has healed. this way you will still be able to chew when you are 70 yrs old and the teeth won't shift.
Best thing to do is ask your dentist and go from there. She/he should be able to give you all the details how this procedure works.
Good Luck!

Sometimes one or a few adult teeth don't form, and the baby teeth at the same position persist in the mouth.

If your baby tooth is unhealthy, then it is best to remove it and later replace it with an implant or a bridge.

But if your baby tooth is ok, then you can keep it!
