I feel cloudy-minded and dizzy a lot since I've had mine. Is there something to this idea of bacteria colonizing in the dead teeth that causes systemic illnesses- brain, heart, lungs, circulation, etc.? If you have had problems with root canals, please tell me! Any advice???

Any strange happenings after you've had a root canal?

Have you had your root canal just a few hours ago? It would be normal to feel dizzy because of the local anesthetics.

Some dentists think that doing root canals can leave bacteria which goes to the blood.

But most dentists agree that doing a root canal sterilizes a tooth, killing all the bacteria.

well hun i've had three. the first one, due to really poor dentistry, caused an infection in my jawbone UNDER the post and root canal filling. to fix this costs surgery, and there's nothing i can do to claim it back from that dentist, as he's clear "since he acted in good faith'. so i sit with another $1000 bill if i go ahead. you didn't say how long back you had yours done? i would very seriously go back and have it checked and xrayed again to ensure you don't sit with complications like i have now.
