Dental - October 2006

If one brushes and flosses daily and uses a spin brush, why pay a dentist twice/yearly for check-ups??? Is this "advisement" a scam by the dental association to make money???

His breath is bad and i more want to tell him about it because others know that and ownt tell him, but he is not so close to me that i can flat out say hey your breath is kicking. How do i tell him and what can he do to stop that asides from brushing his teeth?

Any dentists in here that would be willing to help me out? I have horrible teeth and it's starting to get very painful to eat...but I don't have a lot of money to spend on getting them fixed. Tried going to local dentistry schools, but nothing could be done. I am willing to drive or fly any where in the U.S. to get work done. one reason I am asking this I lost 98 pounds and I am loosing more I am changing my life for the better I just tried off being a nobody I cant even get a girl to talk to me haha and not even online friendship I dont have to many friends no one want to go anywhere with me well I not going to tell my life story but I want to know I getting my top teeth taken out I fall down and broke off mostly all the top teeth so I need fake teeth if I get them now will my gums loose wieght and my fake teeth will not work for me please help me I thank you!

well my two fangs on top (if thats what they are called) like in between the gum and the base of the tooth, well i can feel like my root is showing. i cant see it, but it is very sensitive to cold liquids. i can also stick part my fingernail in it and touch a nerve. i know, sounds weird. but i've had it for about for as long as i can remember and i am wondering what wrong with it? gum disease? do i need a root canal? i dont know what else there is, but please help..and YES i will eventually will go to the dentist. please dont post, "you should see a dentist". thanks.
