Studies have been done to show which is better, but it all comes down to one question: Which one do YOU want to use? There is no statistical difference between floss types and finding one that you will use properly and daily is the best answer to which one is better.

I use unwaxed, because it's my preference. Theoretically, it's better.

First of all it depends on the width of the space between your teeth. If your teeth are very close together you would likely chose thin. Waxed helps particularly the thin dental floss from shredding and thereby causing problems. I particularly love THORNTON 3in1 FLOSS which is an all purpose floss that is excellent for removing plaque between teeth, underbridgework and braces. It promotes healthy gums and once you have used it you won't want to go back to other types of floss. My Dental Hygienist introduced me to it. I'm a RN and have shared this information with lots of patients. Good luck to you.

Personal preference...I work In a Dental office and many people use whatever works well for there teeth. It depends if you have tight contact between your teeth..if so maybe use thin..also if you have a bridge there is different floss for that as well...just ask your dentist if you can sample a few..

Try Glide waxed floss. It is easy to slide in between the teeth and into the sulcus area of the gums (the area that hugs the tooth). Another plus to using waxed floss is that it doesn't fray. It also has a "gentler" feel to it.

Spending time in it is, properly -- unnecessary. this is like arguing over how dinosaurs grew to change into extinct. at the same time as there is sufficient volume of concepts to discredit each and every area, there is inadequate data to tutor both one. smart layout and God: - except for faith, the position's the confirming data of a larger means/architect (God). - What activities might want to have enable to the introduction of God? - If God is all-effective and supremely smart, why did it take distinct tries to create semi-smart human beings rather of barbaric animals (in accordance with neanderthal remains and assuming that the slate replaced into wiped a minimum of two times by technique of an ice-age and then flood). Evolution: - when you consider that each and every thing both exists as part of something more advantageous or calls for skill to be created, then what foundation exists for the large-bang idea? - If a giraffe can evolve an prolonged neck, then why can't pandas in basic terms tweak their eating routine to prevent extinction? - Why is it that the in difficulty-free words concrete record of drastic evolution is that which has befell in human beings or led to by technique of human beings (managed breeding, hormones, and so on.)? There aren't any solutions to those questions. particular, some loose examples (in accordance with hypothesis and idea) might want to be stated -- yet absolute, concrete data doesn't exist. diverse beliefs and ideas income diverse human beings. It doesn't cause them to stupid or ignorant. the persisted search for for solutions shouldn't in any respect be abandoned, and hopefully, sometime, we will study the solutions. until eventually then, there is no element in arguing over it or discrediting both area.

That might depend on the amount of dental work you had.
The more its better to use waxed so it has less tendecy to hang up on restorational work. Try it to see what work's for you.
