For several days now, one of my teeth is hurting. The pain will come and go, but the pain is kinda intense. Is there any way of getting rid of the aching?

Tylenol will help a bit. Try putting Oil of Cloves right on the area that hurts. This will reduce the pain too. There are some over-the-counter toothache gels that you might try too. They are usually next to the floss and toothpastes.

As you already know, a toothache means that the nerve is being irritated in some way. You either have a cavity or an infection. Eventually the pain will go away without seeing a dentist but by then the nerve and the tooth will have died. It's better to get it treated in the early stages. BElieve me I know, I've done it the other way and now I'm in for some horrendous dental bills to fix things I let go too long

First you should go to a doctor who will prescribe an antibiotic so the infection that you probably have will stop, or for an instant pain relieve, crush an aspirin and put it over the hurting teeth or a clove like the ones you use to cook. That will work but only temporary, go see a doctor.

Go see your dentist, if the pain is off and on then one day you will wake up swollen if u don't have swelling now. Take something for pain in the meantime-over the counter. The pain will go away after u see your dentist. Don't wait too long.

If it is the tooth itself then cavity that may even need root canal. But if it is the gums then floss and brush better and it will go away.

Either way go see a dentist if it lasts more than a few more days.

If it's swollen, take some Ibuprofen. If it's just pain then take Tylenol extra strength. If it doesn't get better in a week, you may have an infection. Go see a dentist asap.
