DENTIST WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU
BUT -IF YOU WAIT 3 MONTHS BEFORE GETTING A FITTING YOUR GUMS WILL SHRINK AND YOU'LL GET A MORE COMFORTABLE FIT
IF YOU CANNOT WAIT 3 MONTHS WITHOUT TEETH-SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES

Play rugby, you'll lose weight fast. Here's why: It's an 80 minute match, and it only stops for half time or injuries. It's a lot of cardio but also involves conditioning muscles depending on which position you are it's SO much fun, you get to tackle people and not get in trouble. rugby makes you an automatic badass

I have personally seen several cases where the gums shrink when the patient loses weight, especially in extreme cases like gastric bypass.

If this happens, the dentist can reline the denture to fit your new skinny gums

My mom's friend lost alot of weight and her dentures no longer fit her. Talk to your dentist/denturist and they will have the scoop. Congrats on losing the weight! That is a fabulous thing. I hope things go the way you hope. Remember to smile...with or without teeth!

Cosmetic dentistry is the answer there. They can put on caps or use a laser treatment to add to the existing teeth. Don't think your gums will be a problem. You won't know till you go to have that done.

I'm not sure about YOUR situation, but I have seen hundreds of patients lose weight and then their dentures no longer fit. There is fat tissue EVERYWHERE in your body and when you lose weight, you lose it everywhere.

Reading this I just have to share something because I spent endless years going from diet to diet without acheiving any real results until I came across Pams magic plan (google it). It is without a doubt the best results that I have ever had and I have kept it off to this day.

You can lose fat.. and can lose muscle. Neither kind of tissue is in your gums. You need to take care of them though, as they can recede with poor dental hygiene.
