is it because my body is heaty? i must emphasize that it this very small yellowish clump that smells very bad. i can roughly feel its somewhere near my throat i then i will cough it out. what is it? tks a lot!

Mmk, well like I got braces last Monday.. and like I have two canker sores from them. How do I get rid of canker sores and prevent my braces from making them?

I wore braces for over a year, but got them off over 4 years ago. Since then I've supposed to have been wearing two retainers (top and bottom) at night. About 10 months ago I stopped wearing them, since I figured I probably didn't have to wear them at night my whole life and since I'd rarely missed my teeth would be fine. Lately I've noticed that my bottom teeth are a bit crooked again, and the retainers don't fit very well.

If I start wearing them again, will they straighten my teeth back? I don't have good dental insurance so I can't afford an orthodonist visit.

Sometimes I feel as if my braces aren't working even though it's only been two weeks since I got them. I keep looking in the mirror for changes. When will I see them?

Also how long will it take for my gap to close on my top incisors? It's not very wide.

At first I thought it was a big joke, but the more Limeys I meet, the more I see jack-o-lantern type grills. I've always thought the Brits had a distinguished approach to life but it doesn't seem like they care much about oral hygeine.

And I don't even want to get into their breath. BLECCH!

I'm not trying to perpetuate a stereotype in ANY way but it seems like all the British people I meet ARE. Can someone shed some light on this?
