the sutures should come out in 7- 10 days. you should go back to the office where they will take a couple of seconds to remove them for you. doesn't hurt one bit

They usually use a dissolvable suture. It stays intact long enough for your tissue to start healing well, then it gradually dissolves away. I had my wisdom teeth taken out a few years ago and that's what I had. I think it was gone about ten days to two weeks later.

Call your dentist office and ask if they need to be removed or if they are the rot and fall out on their own type. If they didn't make a follow up appointment for you they should be gone by next week.

They are most likely dissolvable stiches (ask your doc if you weren't told) which means in about 1-2 weeks they should be dissolved and you shouldn't feel them any more.

MOST STITCHES THEY USE DISSOLVE WHILE THEY HEAL BUT IF THEY ARE THE KIND THEY TAKE OUT THEY MIGHT DO IT IN A WEEK AND HALF OR SO, AND IT DOES NOT HURT.
GOOD LUCK

I work in a dental office and after an extraction we see them back in about a week to remove sutures. call your office and ask them when they want to see you for a post-operative check they should've given you instructions for that.
