Yes, and yes, bacteria builds up on the tongue so it is important to brush it, and people should floss daily as well:)

We Indians have a tongue scrapper -it is the best way - much less chance of bad breath...If you brush your tongue, you collect bacteria on your brush which you take to your teeth and gums on the next brushing.

We Indians have a tongue scrapper -that is the favourite mind-set - a lot a lot less hazard of risky breath...in case you brush your tongue, you convey mutually bacteria on your brush that you're taking up your teeth and gums on the subsequent brushing.

Yes, you are supposed to clean your tongue also when brushing your teeth. Do the tongue last though. I don't use my toothbrush, I actually have a tongue scraper. I like it better than the toothbrush.

brushing the tongue helps rid of some baterial as well as helping with halitosis. I not only brush my teeth and tongue but also my gums with a softer brush so not to scrape them

I find that it makes my breath fresher, but my problem is I keep gagging and feel like throwing up whenever I brush too far back. I wonder if that's suppose to happen.

Yes, I brush my tongue. I learned it from my 1st grader. They taught them that in school. It makes me gag too if I'm not careful. I think tongue scrapers are a gross concept.

Depends on how my stomach is feeling at the time. When I brush my tongue, it makes me gag.
