This is hard to explain- but I will try my hardest.

Lately, past three monts or so, I have had the occasional weird feeling in my chest, almost "light-chested". It is almost as if my heart is skipping some beats. The feeling makes me want to cough, so I do. It is also accompanied by the feeling that I am not getting enough air. It's not that I can't breathe- I can, it just makes me think that I should breathe deeper. When I do breathe deeply, though, I get light headed. It is occasionally oppanied by tight-chestedness.
This occurs when I am at rest, and I am a teenager. My mom this it may be anxiety or stress related. I have mild asthma and anxiety.
Any ideas?

They clearly kill people, they make you smell like crap, turn everything yellow(furniture,nails,clothes,teeth), add wrinkles twice as fast, make you out of shape and just plain gross,are a waste of money...i am still in awe that people smoke? SO why do they? Why not just drink bleach and call it a day ;)

we've been goin out for like 3 months, and have been veryy good friends for 5 months, we love each other more than anything or anyone, and ever since thanksgiving we've been doin alot more stuff than kissing, im 15, and hes 17, he didnt pressure me into doin it at all, it was my choice, so dont think he's only in it for that stuff....i love him alot, but after a week of nonstop of all this stuff, i think we're goin a little bit too fast, and i told him, and he said we could stop for awhile, but a part of me doesnt and wants to keep goin, I dont kno wat to dooo

I have a broken tooth, it hurts like hell. It had a silver filling put in it a while ago and now its broke but the filling is still hanging in there. the enamel has been eaten off on the side of it too. I swear I could just rip it out right now, it hurts so bad. I am dirt poor, no dental insurance, how much do dentists usually charge for extractions....and yea I know it depends on the dentist..obviously, but ballpark figure here...

I just went to a clinic for some persistent back pain I've been having. They took an X-ray, gave me some Rxs and a shot in the butt. All she said was "it's a painkiller." Anyone know what that painkiller might have been? I like to look things up to see what I'm getting but I don't know what to look up? I have to say I am a little loopy...

hi i'm 22. my period has just ended, no more discharge. but whenever i exert force when i pass motion, there will be brownish red discharge coming out. is this normal? is it that my vigina not strong enough to hold the discharge?

I'm taking 1-2 sleeping tablets every day, otherwise I couldn't sleep. Now ever so often I get this stinging slightly painful feeling on the left side of my chest. I am 22 and my baby is 6 months old. I had a normal pregnancy and delivery. I pumped for about 4 weeks until for some reason my milk seemed to "run out". After that I got my period back in about 2 months, how ever 3 months ago my period was more a discharge than any thing else and I have not gotten it since. We use condoms cause pills make me irregular. I have not had any of the same feelings that I had with my first 2 pregnancies (1st was a miscarriage). But i have heard that every pregnancy is diff. What should I do? Should I be worried?

I have pretty much good eye site. I do however notice that ocassionaly when I am reading something far away it looks fussy, or I mis up letters (the D might look like a b or something) this doesnt always happen however. I also notice that I havea tendency to hold papers very cloe to my face, I can hold it away and read it fine but I just have a tenency to hold it close to my face. In doctors office eye tests when I cover my right eye the eye chart goes blurry and if I take a few minutes and blink my eyes my it gets less blurry, but is not totally clear. However voerall I don't have major problems. Do I have a minor astigmatism? What all do you need to do to have an astigmatism diagnosed and get glasses to help? Do people with a stigmatism have to wear their glasses at all times or is it only when you are doing certin things?

Help me. My mom is 49 years old heavy chain smoker.She is on her 4 packs a day habit and increasing it every day. She is inhaling smoke very deeply and says that she needs much smoke to feel ok. I noticed that she often feels dizzy and constantly out of breath, but she says she is fine. She is always coughing a lot very hard, and can't control herself. And her voice changed very much it's very deep and raspy.She is really acting strange like she can't live without smoke and cigarette in her mouth.
What can i do? Is she ill ?

If you are in a terrible relationship with ongoing emotional mental physical abuse such as name calling, putting you down, using psychological torture etc, then you take a stand and he smiles and says to you, you will never have the strength to leave me, you will never stop caring and laughs. Why do you think he said that? Do you think he really dosent want me to stop caring? he cant surely think i would stay around with that treatment? It took me months to do this because he wasnta bad guy at first. He hooked me then started abusing. Does he think i would come back or never leave him?

when you are turning 30 in a few days you look at life like in 30 more years I am going to be 60? When I was a kid I wanted to be 16 so I could drive then 18 so I could legally smoke cigarrettes and then 21 so I could legally drink.. All of these I did more of when I was underage except for the driving part.. Back then life was so slow like summertime was so long and now its like the weeks are passing me by. It feels like it was the weekend just yesterday and now it's here again gone tommorrow. Did anyone else feel like this when you were or are going through your 30th year? Just curious if this is a normal part of life. Thoughts around my birthday back then compared to now were like "Yippee it's my birthday!!!" (Doing a little birthday dance) Now its like "Damn I am turning 30 on monday (Sarcastically) Yippee:( wow getting older now this sucks

I have already asked this but I did not get to many answerers and wanted to get more. So I want to start using tampons and I think the only way to feel at ease about using them is by talking to my doctor about them and hearing her opinion. I am really shy when it comes to talking about these sort of things so I was wondering if this would be a good way to word my questions. " If I ask you a question your not going to tell my mom right? Well I was wondering what your opinion on tampons is and if you would recommend them to girls my age?" (14 years old) I want to ask but would it be stupid to ask? Also I am not going to talk to my mother about this, she already said I could start using them. The reason for asking my doctor is so that I am not so nervous.

i have done so much research and i have presented them with so many facts. i told them all the benefits etc. but still every time they go shopping they buy the sugery cereal, pasta, pie basically junk food. is there some sort of tactic that will work or should i do it on my own and prove that healthy eating is the way to go.

so were both 19 @ different colleges, but we've been together for 4 ish years.. he has ocd adhd and depression, & his doc. put him on depression meds about a year ago.. after that he literally changed so much, was constantly bouncing off the walls, broke up w/ me and just seriously went insanely hyperactive..so idk i think he may be bipolar but that's a whole nother story in itself..anyways we did not talk for 10 months until before we both went 2 school (4 months ago) & i didnt want to get back w/ him but it sort of just happened and b4 i knew it we were a couple again..2 weeks ago he just avoided me & stopped talking to me and then 5 days ago he ended it..he told me he loves me, and then texted me yesterday 7 hours after i txted him saying hi, telling me that " i miss you haha" idk how thats funny but w/e & that "he's fine but everything reminds him of me"..but then he'll just stop talking to me..whats going on w/ him, i dont think hes on his meds, but like does he regret ending it?
