cant give a proper answer as you dont give specifications but the size shouldnt make a difference unless hes bigger than average (6 inches) even then if youre relaxed & have plenty of foreplay all should be fine

That particular part of the body is meant to stretch, however with different size partners, it may indeed hurt. I suggest personal lubrication if you have any concerns. If it hurts too much to continue with intercourse stop and try again another time.
