I just went to a clinic for some persistent back pain I've been having. They took an X-ray, gave me some Rxs and a shot in the butt. All she said was "it's a painkiller." Anyone know what that painkiller might have been? I like to look things up to see what I'm getting but I don't know what to look up? I have to say I am a little loopy...

They should have told you what it was. Some things it could have been are Morphine, Toradol, Demerol or Dilauded. (to name a few)

I'd be calling the clinic and insisting to know what they injected into my system...goodness girl...dont ever let anyone inject anything into your system without knowing what it is first.....there are so many different meds they could have used.....Certainly glad you didnt have a bad reaction to whatever it was.....
