Sometimes I have real bad cramps during or before my period. I'll take Midol or something similar and sometimes it helps but other times I have to lay flat on my stomach or curled up in order for it to go away. Is there anything my doctor can prescribe me to help the cramps? I've heard sometimes going on the pill can help is this true?

I am 40 years old, I have 32 rotten teeth, some are just roots. I have been feeling sick for years and have abcesses about 3 times a year. I am scheduled to have them all removed under general IV anesthesia, I will not have immediate dentures. I am scared to death since I am very sick anyway that this may kill me, I don't know why I am sick the doctors around here make no effort to ever really diagnose me, I am weak and dizzy most of the time with alot of abdominal cramps and diarreah most days, I dont eat well due to lack of appetite for the only foods available to me. also have a broken foot that is infected, I have taken antibiotics for about a month and have been off them for about 10 days now.
Should I have the surgery ? How long will I be in pain? How long will the surgery take? Will my face swell ? WIll i be on antibiotics again? Any advice or experience is appreciated

I have gone to the doctor for this and they can't find anything but my symptoms are I have REALLY bad PMS symptoms since I've had kids, my periods are irregular. I'm late a few weeks sometimes and I PMS the whole time from when I was supposed to have it until It actually starts. I also get sick easy when I'm about to start. If I clean the house, I will almost certainly get the flu. I know these are weird symptoms but they are SO real! =) Does anyone know what this could possibly be?

So me and my b/f have been in an amazing and loving relationship for almost a year now, and I decided I want to give him oral sex. (note: this isn't his idea. he doesn't even know i'm planning something. i decided on my own) We are 17, and we are both virgins to any kind of sex. I have been worried that I will only be able to take a little bit of his member inside my mouth, since it is my first time. Do you think he will mind? What can I do to be able to take in more the first time? (he's about 6 0r 7 inches long and 1 1/2- 2 inches wide) How do I start? Thanks! and i'm kinda shy about doing this so do u think he will mind if i blindfold him with one of his ties? any tips for shyness?

I am a 16 year old boy, and Everyday, to me, life just feels like a dream. It has been happening so long now, that I can't even remember when it started, I think it started about 2 years ago. I am starting to get worried as it is getting worst and not going away. Any Ideas on what this might be? I have been reading up on psychosis, and I'm wondering if i might have a minor case of it, but I am still able to do good in school, keep relationships with my friends, and play sports. Any help is appreciated!

I drive by a Duke/Duchess affiliated truck stop each day on the way to work. It's right off a major interstate and the sign out in front has been advertising Choreboys for sale. This was very puzzeling to me at first; why would people who frequent truck stops be interested in buying something to scrub pots and pans with? It seemed to be an unusual thing for a truck stop to advertise.

I did some online research and discovered that Choreboys are also used to facilitate smoking crack cocaine. My conclusion is that this truck stop may be trying to cater to people who engage in that sort of illegal activity. I find this to be very disturbing.especially when so many peoples' lifes have been destroyed by crack.

If there is any other logical explanation for this, I'd like to know. Has anyone else notice truck stops agressively advertising Choreboys? If corporations like Duke/Duchess are targeting illegal drug users as customers, they should be ashamed of themselves!

I have asked a question about this before: For as long as I remember I have suffered from horrible, horrible canker sores. Also, I have NO energy. I am exhausted, I am constantly fatigued. After I eat, I get really hyper. Then crash. I get migraines that last all day. I'm only 15, I don't think this should be happening!

So what I am asking is this: My mom thinks that I have an allergy to wheat. I looked up Celiac disease, my friend has it, and it says that some people have chronic symptoms, others go unnoticed. Can I be allergic to wheat without having Celiac? Or could this be Celiac disease? I sometimes have really bad stomach problems, but not as often as I used to. Also, when I eat, even just a small amount, my stomach bloats so big, a woman thought I was pregnant!!

I am going on a gluten free diet for a while to try to see if it helps with my headaches...but what does this sound like?

ok...a month ago, my tooth was hurting and the dentist says it's an abscess tooth and said i have to have a root canal...they gave me this antibiotics for ten days, three times a day....after the ten days, my tooth doesn't hurt anymore, i can bite with it and it won't hurt.so far my tooth is just fine, it's not getting loose, it's not getting black, my cheeks aren't swollen, i haven't seen any problems..now, my root canal is scheduled a week from now...should i still take the root canal?....my dad says that if it doesn't hurt then it's fine and that it is more important to save your original tooth than to have a jacket...should i still have the root canal done?

I have a lot of trouble sleeping and now I've become addicted to Tylenol PM and Nyquil and those make me feel so groggy in the mornings, so I'm really trying to get away from those, but if I don't take them, I can't sleep at all. Tonight I bought some melatonin, so I'm about to take it, but I keep stressing out worrying about whether I am actually going to be able to fall asleep. I know that stressing about it is just going to make it harder to fall asleep, so I was just wondering if anyone who has taken it could tell me if it really helps you sleep or not? Thanks!

Ive tried gum, toothpaste, mouth wash, strips, everything to try and get my teeth to whiten but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know any low cost effective ways to whiten your teeth.
Just a note: i eat a lot and eat practically anything, so something that can prevent stains would be a plus.

Most of the time it happens right after my period, but now I am on a BC that I only get my period every three months. The thing is that I am still getting it when I am off my period too. I don't really have a foul odor coming from there. Last time I knew, I didn't have an STD of any kind and I am just really trying to figure it out. My only guess is maybe that some of my clothes are just too tight there, but it still persists. Right now it's been going on for about a week and a half. It itches really bad and is a little sore. It's a little swollen I think from scratching and there are a few bumps as well.

It seems that many people here are concerned about their ability to pay attention to anything regardless of their interest. Zoning out, easily distracted, so on, and so on. So let's say that all things about an environment are ideal for an average person. How long can that person electively focus on any task they want such as reading?

I have rheumatoid arthritis, am 26 years old and since moving to Denver have NEVER had so much pain with it! Sure there have been times my whole body would flare up and it wouldn't be pleasant - but I am noticing more localized pain - specifically the BACK of my knees, my hips, and my shoulders - as well of course as toes and fingers. Why would it be so localized like this and what can I do?

Yes, I am overweight, but have been working on it! This month lost 16 lbs! YAY ME! I also sit long hours for work... but no more than I was before I moved here and am still doing my yoga, belly dancing and walking.

The professional counselling services in my locality are an ineffective option for anyone I have ever talked to that has tried them.
I have already spoken to my parish preist.
I take Wellbuterin (anti-depression med) twice daily due to losing my home to arson 4 years ago.
My nuclear family is very close, and we have all discussed it at length (My husband, adult children and I found his body). I also have several friends who are willing to talk about it with me.
I am still so very sad and upset. I have cried for a whole day. (I haven't cried much in years)
What more can I do for my mental health?

Sometimes i have to guide people around the store , back and forth carrying things , and if not those things , i have to stand at the register for about 7 hrs straight. Which is more often. I don't have much of a problem about walking around , cause i used to work at a diner running back and forth for 10 hrs , But its the standing in one spot for so long, My feet are killing me , plus this is my part- time job , I have a full time job as well , i am trying everything i can to clear all my debt as i have to much. But what can i do for the pain in the feet , its horrible. I have insoles(gellies), i bought sneakers a size bigger. Do you think weight is an issue. I am not obese but i think i am slightly overweight for my height. The crazy thing is that my body is not even that exhausted, it should'nt be , i am only 24, its only my feet , please help..
