Ive tried gum, toothpaste, mouth wash, strips, everything to try and get my teeth to whiten but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know any low cost effective ways to whiten your teeth.
Just a note: i eat a lot and eat practically anything, so something that can prevent stains would be a plus.

If you've used the strips as per instructions, not just casually....and you are avoiding staining foods such as coffee, tea, cola, dark berries like blueberries......then your next option is the dentist pro whitening. Expensive. Yep but probably the only way you'll get the moviestar white smile....if even possible. Some people's teeth are stained from childhood and may not be treatable. Option after that are veneers which are really expensive. Talk to your dentist. Not going to a dentist.........well then get your butt over there for a cleaning! That will probably help.

You may have intrinsic stains (stains inside the tooth) which can be resistant to bleaching. In your case, you may need to have them professionally bleached. Ask for Zoom Whitening at your dentists office. It doesn't take to long and it whitens your teeth several shades. The results last up to a year. Hope this helps.

Crest whitening strips. I use them every year and people ALWAYS comment on how white my teeth are. Trust me they work, you just have to take the time to use them. It takes an hour everyday for two weeks but you can have them in while your watching tv, showering, or whatever. Theyre about $30 at walmart for one box and they do work.

My children's teeth were looking discolored between dental trips so I got them an Oral-B professional power toothbrush. It cost under $100 (for a box with 2 units) and they work just like the hygienists brush does. Now their teeth look great all the time.
