I now a lady who swore by magnetic treatments for pain and to aide healing. I never believed in it. But, I was having a problem with pain in a joint on my finger, it was chronic and quite pain full. One day, she showed me some small magnets that you put under a band aide and applied to the place that was bothering you. I tried it for about a week, and son of a gun if the pain did not go away!! It stayed away for a long time. When it finally came back, I used the magnet again and it took away the pain, and it never returned. It's been over ten years now. Before that. I had that pain for many years. Does it work? I believe so. How does it work? I have no idea.

Magnetic necklaces, beds are cheating devices.
I have never experienced that they give pain relief, neither theoritically nor practically.

For pain you should use a SOUTH pole of a strong magnet(it should be kept on pain site except eyes, heart and brain). North pole will be facing the sky(you can't get a single pole).

My uncle had loads of back pain and other stuff, he got one of those bracelet things and he wears it ALL the time. I didn't think they worked, but he says that nothing has ever relieved his pain like that, and it's incredible. So, I guess they do work, or at least the bracelet does!

I tried them and in my opinion, don't waste your money. I have herniated disks in my neck and back. These so called wonder cures did nothing for me. This is only my experience, but I do think that if you believe they work, they may. Just like the placebo effect.
