I hope no doctor would prescribe them, you are too young to get hooked on those pills.

You're going to get some people telling you not to take them, and I am going to tell you not to take them long term. Sleep aids can be a wonderful thing for the occasional insomnia, but if you're using them every night for more than a few months, you have some underlying problem that needs to be investigated.

With that disclaimer out of the way, I get what you're saying. I have occasional insomnia, and have since I was about your age. If you want something over the counter, Tylenol PM is pretty good. If you're looking for herbal/natural, try melatonin, the best are the tablets you put under your tongue. As for prescription, Lunesta has some pretty freaky side effects, but I kind of liked Sonata. Ask your doctor what he or she recommends if you want to go that route.

Of course, you can also try warm milk. It actually does work sometimes.

You should talk to a doctor or try some other ways to fall asleep instead of taking sleeping pills.

You could get addicted to them. I did when I was your age and had to quit cold turkey.
