i'm going to see an endrocrinologist next month about some PCOS-like symptoms and i would like to get some blood tests done for reference / to monitor hormonal imbalances. would it be ok to get three tests done, one on the 2nd day of my period, one mid cycle and one late cycle. would this provide the endrocrinologist with sufficient and accurate information?

I don't see any redness or foreign body in the eye and have tried flushing with saline with no improvement. Have eye doctor appointment on Monday. My boyfriend used to be this funny, sociable, outgoing guy with a natural zest for life. He was nice, sweet, thoughtful and he was crazy about me. We used to do everything together like going to clubs, dinner, movies, etc. However, things changed when he got promoted. As his work got really demanding, he began to get so stressed. He became irritable, sickly, moody, and fights with his manager. He avoided pleasurable activities so we rarely go out. When he became guilty and apologized to me, i tried not to let him feel any pressure by saying its ok, he lashed out that i dont care about him. The next day, he said he he will miss me and he likes me so much but he cant see me for a while because he is so stressed and he doesnt want me to get annoyed with him. He said he also wants me to have fun. Now, I don't hear from him, no calls, no text, nothing. What's happening? Should I reach out to him or give him space? Maybe its just an excuse to get rid of me? Help, please!

(This is a general question)
Is it possible to have Schizophrenia without it running in the family?
How do I know if it isn't just alot of stress or something?
Can too much stress lead to Schizophrenia or is constant stress a sign of Schizophrenia along with talking to yourself, and being freaked out all the time like paranoid for no reason?

I have been feeling very awful for about 2 years now. I have been to the emergency numerous times from the incredible pain I was feeling. I became very frustrated because nothing was showing up on tests except very irritated lymphnodes. The doctors have not figured out what is wrong, I know that not everyone feels the pain I do.
I have pain in my upper and lower stomach, mostly upper.
I also occasionally have a very terrible pain in my upper back.
I have have lost my good eye sight, I have to wear glasses or contacts now.
My memory has become terrible, I am only 16.
I stay the same weight even if I eat large amounts of food frequently.
I am always very cold.
I do not like eating very much because it hurts so badly afterward and I feel like throwing up.
I have become very pale which is weird for my family, we are all olvie skined.
My stool is very loose and usually floats (I know gross, but doctors are usually interested in that)

Please help, I don't know what to do anymore.

This has a very long story attached to it, so I'm going to go straight to the point at hand: how much ativan can a 275 pound person take to knock them out without taking them out permanently? I have 4.5 mg in me now, and it hasn't even taken the edge off of the anxiety that needs to be addressed. I also have hydryxyzine, which it turns out is more effective, but if I combine them, I'm afraid again that I'll be flirting with danger.

I am in a parasuicidal state and agreed with my therapist to stay stoned on sedatives until Monday. Sounds crazy and irresponsible but that's only because I haven't gone into any detail.

So the question is: how much more ativan can/should I take, and/or should I add hydroxyzine?

This is not a prank or a how-do-I-kill-myself question. I'm trying to stay alive but for now can only do it in a stupor. Again, long story.

Helpful knowledge: I'm married and in treatment for mental illness.

Something really strange happened tonight and I really don't know what to make of it. I hope it isn't real serious but I was wondering if someone (maybe with some medical knowledge) could help me out?
(I am a 19 year old male)
To be honest I don't know where to start about this randomness that happened. All I know is:
I tried going to bed and layed there for about 4 hours just twisting and turning trying to get comfortable and there were points where I would be talking to myself outloud so maybe I'm crazy, I don't know...
Anyway, sometime during the sleeplessness I randomly started to cry for no reason. I don't even think I was thinking about anything sad and even if I was thinking of something sad and just don't remember, I'm not one to cry like most other guys so thats why it is strange.
I don't think its stress because theres nothing to be stressed about in my life.
I thought it could be my new adderall prescript. but I don't think it cause me to cry randomly.

any ideas?

and I have vaginal spotting and very sharp pains in my side. I'm not due for my period for some time now. I have been crying and outrageously stressed since about 10:30 and it's 3:00 am now. Should I be worried about the bleeding? Should I go to my doctor?

Apparently I have a yeast infection all over my body but mainly on my arm and around my arm pits and on my stomach. I have tried ketoconazal pills, carmol 40, clobex, perscription dandruff shampoo, and most recently clotrimazole and betamethasone diipropionate cream. The doctor said that their is nothing left for me to do but see the dermatologist. What would he prescribe me these same medications or somethiing different?

I had my wisdom teeth removed a week ago. Because it was surgery, the surgeon put me on steroids for 6 days to keep the swelling down, and antibiotics for 10 days to prevent infection. As of the past couple of nights, my throat has been sore. I've now noticed whiteish fuzzy patches on my tongue with raw red spots around. It bled when I brushed my teeth. Is it possible that this is thrush? Once I'm off antibiotics, should it go away, or should I go ahead and call the doc?

I was just perscribed lidocaine and was allergic to it - well - I felt dizzy, nausous, diarra, just icky. I also have this feeling when I go to the dentist. I have been ok with the dentist until 8 years ago when I passed out in the dentist office. And ever since then I am terrified about going to the dentist because of that. Was that a allergic reaction and can you become allergic to lidocaine and the dentist "caine"?
