Emotional lability and depression are both adverse side effects reported for adderall. If this is something that came on suddenly after you started taking a new prescription, it's most likely a reaction to the medication. It would be a really good idea to call your doctor before you take any more. Or call the pharmacy and talk to them about side effects. It's unlikely that you're going to become psychotic without some warning.

Though outwardly you may feel that there is no stress ,deep inside the sub conscious level there may be some sadness which is translated into tears . The turmoil in the mind does not allow the brain to be calm and rob 's one of peaceful sleep. The adderal may also a contributing factor. In any case afew Yoga asanas may help. for sure. Pranayama is beneficial and aids in keeping the mind calm.

Could be a bout with depression. Yes, even guys get depressed, and its not a stigma... it happens. There are meds to help you through it.
On the other hand it could be just a bad case of the blues. There is a difference.
If you do not improve within a couple of weeks, its time to see a doctor.

It could be your body adjusting to the adderall or the result of stress or something else. If it is only an occasional thing, I wouldn't worry about it. If it starts to be every night, talk to your doctor.

A warm glass of milk normally helps one get a good night's rest...have you tried it?
What about praying? Before laying your head on your pillow clear your thoughts & focus on your God...any God that you may believe in...if you don't...just focus on the Higher Power that created you...Give Thanks for your day & every little blessing that you may have received.
You could also try yoga & meditation.
All the best!
Take care and remember...tears are God's way of washing clean your soul...!
xx

Sounds like a possible problem with depression to me. If I were you I would seek medical attention for sure. I am a Medical Assistant, and both my son and myself are being treated for depression.

if you were crazy you won't be writting this describtive, logical paragraph.
what I'm thinking is that, you either use some chemical side effects, or you are trying to bottle up your emotions so much that it just burst out by its self.
sit back, relax, let your emotions go, express yourself, like talk to your friends/family. treat yourself with icecreams and sweats, go play some basketball or foot ball.
good luck. and pray to God.
