I want to lose weight while my metabolism is buring up quickly please respond?

I spotted a little on friday and I have had about 3 tablespoons (tmi..sorry) when I used the bathroom a few hours ago. Since then I have had only a little on the toilet paper when I wipe....has anyone experienced these symptoms, I talked to a family doctor this morning and she said I was probably just getting my period a week early. I am 7 dpo....any info would be nice...thanks

Hello, is it true that the limbus of the eye (see: http://www.lvpei.org/stemcell_dia.jpg or please see: http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/_/viewer.aspx?path=dorland&name=limbus_corneae.jpg as an example) is usually a lighter color than the iris's color? Could it be darker? Is it possible for the color to be blue (exceptions being a corneal arcus) for darker colored eyes? Example: a person who doesn't have high cholesterol deposits who has brown eyes to have a blue limbus? Is the limbus's color usually the eye's color? Finally, IF it is possible genetically for the limbus's color to be completely different from the iris (say blue), what would be the frequency of this (particularly in the US)? How unlikely is it for eyes to have a blue limbus and would age matter (of course older people might have a corneal arcus more)? What would be the frequency of this for a total average segmented population? Any facts or scientific data is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Does smoking paper cause health problems? I know that smoking cigarettes causes health problems. But does smoking paper cause health problems? If you roll up a piece of paper, and tape it up and light one end and inhale and exhale the smoke produced from paper, is that as harmul as cigarette smoke? Is it harmful at all?

What can I do to help my 3 year old gain some weight?
She eats but not enough. I always have food for her though. She just doesnt want it. She would rather drink all day... and when I try to make her go awhile without a sippy cup, she THROWS A FIT!!!

I went to the after hours clinic today and the doctor told me that I have an umbilical hernia. I have a really bad pain in my belly button and its getting worse. I told him that I have an appt with my primary physician on Monday and he said if I want to wait I can, but he would advise me to go to the ER today because progressively worse pain could mean a strangulated hernia.

Would it be ok to wait until Monday? Have you ever had experience with this? I just don't know if he *has* to advise people to go to the ER. At first he just referred me to a surgeon but when I told him that today it hurts worse than yesterday he said I should probably go to the ER.

Do you need malpractice insurance if you're a Psychiatrist? I mean, what if the medicine you gave someone made them have severe reactions and they wanted to sue?

It JUST crossed my mind that I'm a Christian and my parents have no idea that I masturbate, but is it a sin? I'd ask them but then they'd say something that would make me seem addicted to sex, which I'm not! Is there anything wrong with masturbating? Hi, I started coughing on Wednesday (haven't been ill), and today I've been feeling worse, slight temperture and cough seems to have settled in my chest.

What happens to my daughter when I kick the bucket. She's diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic. Hasn't held a job since she came back to live with me 5 1/2 yrs ago;don't know if she can hold a job. Unless mental agency comes to house to see that she takes her medication...she doesn't take it.
Will she be a perfect candidate for being homeless?
She took over dose of sleeping pills and aspirin last week,now back in mental hospital. Sh's been in mental hospitals many times. I'm her dad.

About two days ago i started to have my throat covered in mucus and my nose running. Today i hacked up some phlem to clear my throat and it was yellow and sort of white. I am just wandering if this is serious or not. PLEASE help me.

We all know that smoke from a cigarette is deadly. It contains cancer-causing substances and all that other stuff. I'll tell you what I think about doing. If you take a piece of paper and roll it up and tape it around and put it in the shape of a cigarette. In it, it's just an opening. Just paper. If you light one end of the paper in the shape of a cigarette, and smoke comes out of it, and i some of the smoke gets in you and in your lungs and whatever else would it do the same things a cigarette would? All it is is paper rolled up and lit at the end and inhaled and exhaled. It's just regular smoke, Not cigarette smoke. It doesn't have nicotine in it. Would it still harm my lungs? Would it harm me at all?

I have no injuries to my finger, maybe a couple of months ago i bruised the inside of my left finger, and the blood vains shown through the finger, now, my tip of my finger is numb, and the only way to releive pain is to poour hot water over it, continusly, it stops at night, i use ben gay on it, it stops, but soon as i use my finger, it sarts all over again, what is this?

It can't be the way i'm sleeping because i've been sleeping this way. In fact there is nothing new i've been doing. Last time this happened my Dr. gave me a Rx for muscle relaxer which did nothing at all.

I am very close to my younger cousin. She is almost like a daughter to me. Yesterday (Friday), she came to me and said that she started her first day of sex education. She has a choice of staying or opting out with an adult's say so. I'm very close to taking her out of the class because I've already taught her everything she needs to know and she told that her teacher said anal sex can get a girl preganat. I have never heard of that before in my life, and I can't believe they would tell her something like that. However, I need confirmation. I have this problem where i get REALLY nervous .. i can probably get tablets for it or something but i want to try and improve on not being so nervous myself, not through tablets.
When i say nervous i mean physical sick and my head hurts and my stomach feels all tight and whats worse is it is over the most stupid things like going for a meal with work.
does anyone know of any ways of making myself more carm and relaxed.
i have tryed rescue remedies but they dont work.

by the company i work for and also one of the floor managers at work. its got to the point where i dont enjoy my job anymore cos they wont leave me alone. they keep picking on everything i do. they watch me like a hawk all the time, like whenever i go somewhere to get stock or do anything they ask everyone where i am and what time i went. i know for a fact that no one else in my workplace gets treated like this. there are lots of other things they pick on me for but its too much to go into. its like they are waiting for me to do something wrong, then i get taken into a room and spoken to like im being interviewed by the police. i hate them all and they make my working life miserable. im trying to leave right now, ive had numerous interviews and i will go at the first chance i get. but i want to know if theres anything i can do about the way they have treated me as its caused me a lot of emotional stress and embarrasment in my job.
